About
I started railfanning when i was 16 years of age October 19th, 2010. For the whole winter i never railfanned. I started back up and started railfanning mid April, 2011 as the snow was melting. I railfanned for 2 months regularly at Carvel, AB and at the time i did not know anything about trains i could only tell between different railway companies at this point. A few months down the road i started becoming very interested in trains and starting to learn every engine type and horn type. About mid July 2011, i could name every locomotive i saw. I have been learning more and more each time i railfan. By this point, i can name every locomotive i see and name every horn i hear. I started to learn roadnumbers on CN's fleet, now if someone where to say "CN 2337" i would automaticaly know its a GE ES44DC. If someone said "CN 8910" i would automaticaly know its a EMD SD70M-2. I have become insanly addicted to railfanning and would love to spend every moment enjoying the beautiful Alberta scenery while watching beautiful CN locomotives hauling through the landscapes. The Edson Subdivision is my most favorite railfanning location since there's aproximatly two trains per 45-60 minutes. My favorite town/city along the Edson Subdivision is Jasper, AB since it delivers railfanning expiriences viewing the beautiful mountains in the backround. Thanks for getting to know me, please follow my Youtube railfanning videos to follow my Journey as i become more involed in railfanning each day.
